Presentation:
It is served in a low ramekin on a dinner plate with a sliced strawberry and a couple raspberries as a garnish. Powdered sugar is sprinkled profusely on the plate.
Crust:
The crust is very thin and delicate. It is actually so thin that it slightly separates. The taste is typical.
Custard:
Solid vanilla taste. Served room temp. The density is very light almost like a whipped pudding more than custard. Beyond the vanilla taste there is almost no taste to it at all.
Overall Impression:
Overall, this is a standard crème brûlée with relatively little to comment about. The raspberry is actually a fun twist, but encouraging for an overall unexciting crème brûlée.
