Presentation:
Dessert is served in a small bowl which is placed on a dinner plate with a napkin landscape between them. There is no garnish. (Don't be fooled by the pictures which are not the best, those are berries in there.)
Crust:
It has a moderate crust which is quite tasty and provides a subtle taste reminiscent of cobbler. There is no evidence of charring or obvious burnt taste lent from the crust.
Custard:
Slightly warm, with cooked berries mixed in with the custard. It is very smooth and thick with a very pleasant density. It is not overly sweet.
Overall Impression:
A generally terrific crème brûlée with a great impression of fruitiness, delicate crust and solid flavor.
